Move list
Four moves, 28 years in the making.
John sums up his career in four words. Here's what each one has looked like in practice.
- 01
Marketing
↓↘→POver 120 game titles promoted, Resident Evil, Mega Man, Street Fighter and Devil May Cry among them. At Capcom, John pitched Mega Man 9 like it was 1987, right down to a retro NES-style box and cartridge for the press.
- 02
Licensing
→↓↘PJohn used his licensing know-how to help build Arcade1Up and bring Marvel vs. Capcom 2 back as a cabinet. Every Iconic Arcade XT runs official Capcom, Data East or Technōs arcade ROMs.
- 03
Production
←…→KFrom a stack of flat-pack panels to a 68-inch cabinet with a lit marquee. Media1UP showed the first Street Fighter II XT coming together at the factory, screw by screw.
